Cardiff Metropolitan University announces partnership with Kitlocker and Nike

Cardiff Metropolitan University has announced a new partnership with Kitlocker, bringing the world-leading Nike brand to all areas of its sporting offer for the first time. 

The agreement covers performance sport teams, junior programmes, athlete leisurewear, and staff clothing, uniting the entire Cardiff Met Sport community under one brand identity. 

For the first time, this partnership links together all performance sports and junior programmes, including Cardiff Met’s National League teams – Cardiff Met FC, Cardiff Met Archers (basketball), BUCS Super Rugby, and WRU Community Premiership sides. Staff across Cardiff Met Sport will also be outfitted in Nike apparel, while an online e-store will give students, athletes, supporters, and the wider community access to purchase official Cardiff Met Sport clothing. 

Dan Gomm, Assistant Director of Sport at Cardiff Met, said: “To be able to work with Kitlocker and the Nike brand is a truly exciting partner development for Cardiff Met Sport. Kitlocker have demonstrated a commitment to not just delivering, but really understanding, the needs of our whole sport offer.
