Established in January 2026, the Archer Leadership Programme (ALP) was created as the Cardiff Met Sport | Chwaraeon Met Caerdydd response to the Youth Sport Trust Young Ambassadors initiative. Since then, it has already demonstrated the incredible power of student leadership as a vehicle for maximising engagement in and through sport. By recruiting five undergraduate students with diverse experiences, skills and perspectives, the programme has built the foundations of a team
