BUCS Quarter Finals Bring Mixed Results for Archers

Cardiff Met Basketball experienced mixed fortunes in the BUCS Premier quarter-finals for the women’s first team and last 16 for the men's team.
The men travelled to Durham for a challenging away fixture. Despite a determined performance and strong work rate throughout the game, they were defeated 98–76.

The women’s team, meanwhile, benefited from home advantage as they faced Northumbria. In front of strong support, they delivered an excellent performance to secure an 83–59 victory.
The win sends the Archers women into the BUCS Premier semi-final, where they will travel to Loughborough with a place in the BUCS final at stake.
Meanwhile, the Wheelchair Basketball team will travel to Newcastle for their quarter-final after completing the final round of league fixtures unbeaten.
