Cardiff Met broadcast students and alumni set for FIFA World Cup roles
A large group of Cardiff Met Sport Broadcast students and alumni are set to play their part in one of the biggest sports media operations in the world this summer, with current and former students involved in broadcast roles connected to the FIFA World Cup. Two Cardiff Met graduates and four current students from the MSc Sport Broadcast programme will be working for FIFA Host Broadcast Services at the FIFA / HBS London production headquarters in Olympic Park for seven weeks

April Is Awards Season: Always a Massive Month for Met Tv
At the recent National Student TV Awards (known as the NASTAs) Cardiff Met Sport TV was recognised as one of the best student-run sports channels in the country. The Met TV platform picked up 4 separate prizes. GOLD in "Event Coverage" for their marathon 9 hour Varsity 2025 broadcast, GOLD in "Post Production” for Devin Pote and his "Through The Lens” cinematic recap of the Cardiff Clash, SILVER in the "Best Sport" category for their weekly Bucs Super Rugby Coverage and BRONZ
