Ysgol Glan Morfa's Adrianha Makes History with Young Ambassador of the Month Recognition

Cardiff's Young Ambassador of the Month for July is Adrianha from Ysgol Glan Morfa. Adrianha has made history as the first Bronze Young Ambassador to receive this award, a fantastic achievement that reflects her dedication, enthusiasm and commitment to supporting physical activity within her school community.

Mrs Jenkins praised Adrianha's development throughout the year, saying:

"Adrianha is the quieter of the group but has shown a lot of personal growth and has developed a lot of confidence in leading activities. She is especially good with the younger pupils."

Adrianha's commitment to her role is also evident in her own reflections. In her monthly hours submission, she shared:

"I have encouraged more children to join games at playtime, and I have enjoyed helping the younger children."

Her positive attitude and willingness to support others have been evident in all aspects of her Young Ambassador role. Adrianha also worked alongside Cardiff's School Sport Officer to help collect School Sport Survey responses at Ysgol Glan Morfa. Throughout the process, she was friendly, confident and eager to assist pupils in completing the survey, ensuring that as many young people as possible had their voices heard.

Adrianha's journey as a Young Ambassador highlights the impact that volunteering and leadership opportunities can have on young people, helping them develop confidence, communication skills and the ability to inspire others.

As Adrianha prepares to move on to Year 7 and begin an exciting new chapter at secondary school, we would like to congratulate her on this well-deserved recognition. We wish her the very best of luck at her new school and look forward to seeing her continue to grow and thrive as she progresses through the next stage of the Young Ambassador programme.

Da iawn, Adrianha, and congratulations on being our July Young Ambassador of the Month! 🎉🏆
