Cardiff Met Student Tennis Announces Number 8 Lettings as New BUCS Kit Sponsor

Cardiff Met Student Tennis is delighted to announce a new partnership with Number 8 Lettings, who will become the club's official BUCS Kit Sponsor for the 2026/27 season.

The partnership marks an exciting step forward for Cardiff Met Student Tennis as the club continues to grow participation, strengthen its competitive pathway and expand opportunities for students to represent the university in BUCS competition.

A family company founded by Nathan Williams, a graduate of Cardiff Metropolitan University, Number 8 Lettings is a Cardiff-based student accommodation provider that specialises in quality student housing across the city. Established to provide a student-focused and hassle-free rental experience, the company has quickly developed a strong reputation amongst Cardiff students.

As Cardiff Met Student Tennis' new BUCS Kit Sponsor, the Number 8 Lettings logo will feature on the playing shirt worn by Cardiff Met teams competing within the BUCS leagues.

The partnership is particularly meaningful because Number 8 Lettings is already a familiar name within the our tennis community. Several of our players currently rent properties through the company, including our Men's 1st Team Captain, who has lived in Number 8 Lettings accommodation for multiple years. Through our own experiences, we can personally vouch for both the quality of the properties and Nathan's commitment to supporting students. That existing relationship makes this sponsorship a natural fit and a genuine partnership between two organisations dedicated to enhancing student life.

Cardiff Met Student Tennis has experienced significant growth in recent years, both recreationally and competitively. The club provides opportunities for students of all abilities, from those picking up a racket for the first time to athletes wanting to compete at the highest level of university tennis.

A key area of development has been the club's expanding BUCS programme. Over recent seasons, our performance offer has significantly improved giving students more opportunities to train and play and levels not previously available. The continued growth of the programme reflects the increasing demand for university sport and Cardiff Met’s status as Wales Sporting University.
