Basketball Summer Camps return to Archers Arena this August

Cardiff Met Sport will welcome young players to Archers Arena this August for a series of basketball summer camps, offering children the chance to stay active, build confidence and develop their skills during the school holidays. Book Now

The camps are open to children from Reception to Year 6, with sessions running from 09:30 to 12:30 on Tuesday 4 August, Wednesday 5 August and Thursday 6 August. Each day costs £15, with all three sessions available for £45.

Wheelchair Basketball sessions will also take place across the same three days, running from 12:30 to 15:30 at Archers Arena. These sessions are also priced at £15 per day, or £45 for all three, giving participants the opportunity to experience and enjoy one of the fastest-growing inclusive sports in a fun and supportive environment.

A second week of camps will then take place from Tuesday 11 August to Thursday 13 August. Reception to Year 6 sessions will again run from 09:30 to 12:30, priced at £15 per day or £45 for the full three days.

For older players, Cardiff Met Sport will also host a Year 10 to Year 11 camp from Tuesday 11 August to Thursday 13 August, running from 09:30 to 15:30 each day. These full-day sessions cost £30 per day, or £90 for all three, and are designed to offer a more focused basketball experience for players looking to develop their game further.

All sessions will take place at Archers Arena, Cardiff Met’s home of basketball, and will be delivered in a welcoming environment that supports learning, enjoyment and participation. The camps reflect Cardiff Met Sport’s wider commitment to creating inclusive sporting opportunities for young people across the community.
